Following on from The Construction – The New Headquarters for the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, this edition continued to record the project through to its full completion and official opening in April 1986. With some crossover with the earlier title, A Personal Folio includes many new photographs of the building during its construction, plus an extensive series of the finished building, both inside and out.

Overtaken by many new office buildings that took the model of the new headquarters of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation as their starting point, that original building stands as a landmark in the development of architecture during the twentieth century.
